PAC Tower, UW Medical Center

Auburn was the plumbing and HVAC piping contractor on the remodel of the multi-floor, occupied hospital wing. Important to the renovation was critical 24/7 medical-gas services, and heating and cooling services, including critical tie-ins to the existing medical-gas system. The project required careful coordination with several different user groups to minimize disruption to patient services.

Seattle Genetics

Seattle Genetics was a new construction project of a pharmaceutical research lab within an existing shell and core. Auburn was responsible for the design-build RO/DI plant, controls, and BCF facility distribution; design assist for IQ, OQ, PQ, and SOP development; and an FDA validated system.

F5 Tower

F5 Tower

Auburn’s multi-project work on the 800 block of 5th Avenue in downtown Seattle is one of the largest and most complex plumbing projects in Auburn’s portfolio. The F5 Tower is a 45-story, steel-frame building with eight levels of below-grade parking. Levels 1–16 consist of a five-star luxury hotel, while the upper 28 floors are class-A office space.

SECO Southport

SECO Southport

The Southport Office Campus is located in Renton, and the class-A office project consisted of the new construction of a 664,000 square foot, six-level parking garage, and three nine-story office towers totaling 712,752 square feet. The project took over three years to complete and was completed in three phases. Additionally, Auburn was the first MEP subcontractor to complete their scope of work on the project, saving the owner money.

Starbucks Tre

Starbucks Tre

Auburn was the HVAC and plumbing contractor for 15,000 square feet of roasting facility and coffee bar space located in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. This was the first premium-roasting restaurant in Starbucks’ brand. Tom Douglas’ Serious Pie restaurant was also included in the scope of the project, and the most challenging and interesting part of the project was the historical nature of the project

Pebble Beach Offices

Pebble Beach Offices

Auburn was the design-build, full-mechanical contractor for the project. The tenant improvements took place in three-buildings—totaling 338,000 square feet—in just six months. The project included chilled water rooftop AHUs with VAV and electric reheat, chilled water fan coils for IT and 24/7 loads, and a complete replacement of the hydronic piping systems.
