MG2 Architecture, one of the largest architecture firms in the state, moved its headquarters from Bellevue to Seattle. For MG2’s new office, Auburn was responsible for the complete install of a new LG VRF System in a 60,000 SF shell-and-core building. The system includes 150 tons of cooling and heating, with associated low-pressure ductwork and control system.

Highline Medical Center Pharmacy

Highline Medical Center Pharmacy

The Highline Medical Center Pharmacy project was a complete remodel of 2015 square feet of the existing building. Auburn’s scope of work included installation of air-handling units, exhaust fans, ductwork, new plumbing, water hydronics, controls, and balancing.

Starbucks Tre

Starbucks Tre

Auburn was the HVAC and plumbing contractor for 15,000 square feet of roasting facility and coffee bar space located in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. This was the first premium-roasting restaurant in Starbucks’ brand. Tom Douglas’ Serious Pie restaurant was also included in the scope of the project, and the most challenging and interesting part of the project was the historical nature of the project

9th & Broadway – TI

9th & Broadway – TI

Auburn was the HVAC contractor on the tenant improvement for the Tacoma School District’s 9th & Broadway project. Auburn Mechanical’s work on the project entailed the installation of 19 VAV units, the ductwork on both sides of the VAV units, medium-pressure ducting, low-pressure ducting, and exposed grill/ducting.

Pebble Beach Offices

Pebble Beach Offices

Auburn was the design-build, full-mechanical contractor for the project. The tenant improvements took place in three-buildings—totaling 338,000 square feet—in just six months. The project included chilled water rooftop AHUs with VAV and electric reheat, chilled water fan coils for IT and 24/7 loads, and a complete replacement of the hydronic piping systems.
