About the project

Auburn Mechanical completed the full mechanical transformation of Lab 309 at UW Tacoma, converting a former meeting space into a state-of-the-art science laboratory. The project included the installation of compressed air, natural gas, vacuum systems, lab water, deionized water, acid waste, and venting, ensuring a fully functional research environment. Key features included a new high-plume lab exhaust fan, rooftop unit (RTU), seven laboratory fume hoods, snorkels, and welded stainless steel ductwork, all designed to meet the strict safety and performance standards required for scientific research.
