Tacoma Public Schools Lowell Elementary

This project is a new school in Tacoma’s North End community. Auburn Mechanical, serving as the design-build plumbing and mechanical contractor, plays a critical role in system penetrations within the CLT structure to maintain its integrity. Managing to a strict Target Value Design (TVD) process, Auburn successfully delivered the district’s desired system types and configurations while maintaining budget
efficiency. Additionally, Auburn Mechanical actively supported the project’s Washington Sustainable Schools Protocol (WSSP) and Energy Life Cycle Cost Analysis (ELCCA) activities.
