Auburn Mechanical provided full-mechanical contracting services for the Seattle Municipal Tower (SMT) Chiller Replacement project. This project includes replacing and installing 4,000 tons of water-cooled chillers and completely replacing the central plant for the 62-story tower. Crane picks are conducted from a condensed downtown street to the new central plant via access atop the building’s parking garage. Auburn Mechanical is 3D detailing and fabricating all mechanical equipment and components for the complete central plant replacement.
