Auburn Mechanical served as the design-build, full-mechanical contractor for NanoString’s 30,000-square-foot tenant improvement project, transforming a previously used office space into a state-of-the-art mixed-use laboratory and office environment. Working under tight deadlines and in close collaboration with NanoString staff, the general contractor, and the architect, Auburn successfully delivered a high-performance mechanical system tailored to the lab’s unique needs. Additionally, Auburn separated the first-floor tenant space systems from the second-floor future tenant space, reducing energy usage costs and enhancing operational efficiency for the client.
