Kimpton Hotel

About the project

Auburn Mechanical provided plumbing services for the Kimpton Hotel, a historic renovation of the Palladian Building, a designated Seattle City landmark in Belltown. Originally constructed in 1920 and previously serving as low-income housing, the nine-story masonry building required seismic reinforcement and extensive mechanical upgrades to meet modern safety and efficiency standards.

The 18-month renovation transformed the space into a boutique hotel, featuring meeting spaces, a gym, a bar, a restaurant, and new storefronts. Auburn’s plumbing expertise played a key role in modernizing the building’s water distribution, drainage, and infrastructure systems, ensuring long-term reliability while preserving its historic character.
