Bayview Retirement

Auburn Mechanical served as the MEP engineer, full mechanical contractor, and design-build partner for the renovation and facility improvements at Bayview 62+ Community, a 170,000 square foot senior living residence in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood. Originally built in the 1960s, the 10-story tower features 127 independent living apartments on the upper floors and 44 assisted living units on the lower levels.

The renovation modernized key amenities, including the Level 10 Terrace Club, staff offices, library, dining area, spa, pool, wellness center, and reception spaces. A major component of Auburn’s work included completely replacing the building’s central plant with modern, energy-efficient equipment, ensuring improved comfort, sustainability, and long-term operational efficiency for residents and staff.
