Omar Garcia-Pinon

Omar Garcia-Piñon joined Auburn Mechanical in 2023, bringing over a decade of experience in financial leadership across diverse industries, including aerospace, construction, and non-profits. With a background in accounting, financial planning, and analysis, he plays a vital role in ensuring Auburn Mechanical’s financial health and strategic growth.

As Controller, Omar oversees the accounting team, managing key functions such as union payroll, job cost recognition, accounts receivable, and collections. He is responsible for maintaining internal controls, developing accounting policies, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards. His expertise in financial data analysis, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting supports Auburn Mechanical’s leadership in making informed business decisions.

Before joining Auburn Mechanical, Omar served as Director of FP&A and Controller for Persona, a Nestlé Health Science company, and has held various accounting roles since 2011. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Anahuac University in Mexico City and is an active member of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA).
