Kim Johnson

Since joining Auburn Mechanical in 1992, Kim Johnson has played a pivotal role in optimizing project efficiency and resource management. With experience as a project manager, purchasing manager, estimator, and plumber, he brings a well-rounded perspective to his leadership as Materials Manager.

In his current role, Kim is responsible for overseeing procurement strategies, managing delivery schedules, minimizing the impact of price fluctuations, managing the procurement department, insurance claims, building maintenance, and fleet. His expertise in standardizing materials and researching new products ensures that Auburn Mechanical’s projects remain on budget and on schedule.

Kim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Washington and has completed the MCA Project Manager Program. His strategic approach to materials management and commitment to operational excellence contribute to Auburn Mechanical’s long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality mechanical solutions.
