Team effort succeeded with Auburn Mechanical being awarded the 5th + Columbia project. Project Manager Joe Holden and Vice President Ryan McMahan oversaw the proposal process and captured the win with Auburn being chosen as the design build plumbing contractor for the 44 story mixed use project. The building will include a 4 star hotel, office space, retail, fitness center, conference center and parking garages.
Project Manager Mike Gingles was awarded the 7th at Gilman project for Auburn. The Middle-rise apartment complex will be a full mechanical project for Auburn Mechanical. The project is a 340 multifamily unit sitting on a 6 acre site. Apartments will be built in three buildings with each building being 5 stories tall.
As the lead project manager for the healthcare industry, Jerome Lamear’s invested time in this market has paid off with being awarded the Overlake Cancer Wellness Center Project. Jerome has partnered with GLY for this 2 year long job that has awarded Auburn Mechanical full plumbing and HVAC. The design/build project will also include engineering from Auburn’s engineering department.
The Overlake Cancer Wellness Center project will include 4 TI phases to move various departments within the Overlake Campus, Including the Medical Office Tower and Overlake Medical Pavilion buildings. The following are the 4 project phases:

Steve Lemay, Foreman for Amazon Block 45 and Sean Chitwood Field Foreman, gives us a sneak peak of the 800 feet of underground plumbing being installed. The Amazon Block 45 project is a 12 Story Office High Rise with over 4 stories of garage, located in South Lake Union. General contractor for the project is Turner Construction.
It’s a great Tuesday at Highline Medical Center – Pharmacy Remodel. Crane operations were underway with the raising of a 4 ton HVAC Condensing Unit and a Haakon Custom air handling unit with a total weight of 4,620lbs, to the roof-top of t…he Highline Medical Center building. With precise coordination between GLY Construction and Auburn Mechanical, the crane operation was a success.
