Auburn Mechanical Awarded Project for U.S. Open

AUBURN, Wash.—Auburn Mechanical will be installing 10,000 feet of temporary water piping in preparation of the 2015 U.S. Open Championship Golf Tournament.

Auburn will be connecting to 48 portable bathroom trailers and 11 commercial kitchens in anticipation of the crowd. The team will also be installing 23 RPBA stations throughout the Chambers Bay facility that will be removed at completion of the event and shipped to next year’s location.

“The Auburn Team is excited to have the opportunity to take part in building the infrastructure for such a prestigious event. We’re looking forward to working with Chambers Bay and the USGA to deliver a remarkable experience for both fans and participants,” says President Stacy Johnson.

With an expectancy of nearly 250,000 spectators, the USGA is anticipating one of the largest U.S. Open Tournaments to date.
