The UW Tacoma McDonald-Smith project was completed while occupied by a tenant on level one. The historic 1890 building was renovated, which added office and meeting spaces as well as a new mechanical system. Auburn was responsible for the HVAC and plumbing on the project.
The Seattle Academy CUB is the home of their district’s middle school students. The structure includes a gym, commons space, administrative space, roof access, and one level of underground parking. The project is targeting LEED Gold Certification with its goal of sustainable construction.
Auburn Mechanical was the HVAC contractor on the tenant improvement for the Tacoma School District’s 9th & Broadway project. Auburn Mechanical’s work on the project entailed the installation of 19 VAV units, the duct work on both sides of the VAV units, medium-pressure ducting, low-pressure ducting, and exposed grill/ducting.
